CSCOC Annual Club Awards - Rules


 

Eligibility Rules for Awards


  1. Open to members in good standing with the Cocker Spaniel club of Orange County and the American Kennel Club for the last calendar year - January 1 through December 31.
     
  2. All credits for awards must be obtained during the applicant's membership in the Cocker Spaniel Club of Orange County
     
  3. When a dog is jointly owned at least one owner must be a Cocker Spaniel Club of Orange County member.
     
  4. For the breed awards, when a dog is jointly owned, the award will be presented to the member at whose house the dog resides and certificates will be presented to the joint owner(s).
     
  5. No points or wins received prior to the applicant's membership in the Cocker Spaniel Club of Orange County may be applied towards the top-winning awards and the Best of Variety Awards.
     
  6. Deadline for submitting awards applications is between March 15 - 20, the date to be finalized annually by the Awards Chairperson.
     
  7. It is the applicant's responsibility to verify that the award being applied for has been published in the American Kennel Club Gazette or to provide appropriate proof.
     
  8. All disputes will be settled by the Board of Directors, whose decision will be final.
